Self Portrait: An Installation

Pat Steir worked created an installation for the New York School of Drawing, Painting, and Sculpture that was in view from 1987 to 2009. This installation was a study of the human body that was drawn on the walls in Steir's style. Steir drew bodies, eyes, ears, lips, and noses. All of these were mathematically planned out to have correct proportions. It is a great study of the human body and or proportions. This installation is much different from the normal work of Steir, but she still incorporates some of her drip painting and use of color into the space.
